Foster B&B!
Hello friends!
I'm so excited to share this post with you! After a year of sweat, paint, paperwork, and lots and lots of decorating and rearranging we have finally launched our B&B!!
One of the biggest selling points of our home was the basement apartment. Nashville has a huge market for B&B's, and the thought of having a little extra income excited both Brad and I. We knew it was going to be a lot of work, but we knew the return would be worth it in the end.
We started with a fresh coat of white paint on the walls and ceiling to brighten the place up. I didn't want to recreate our upstairs living area, so I decided on black doors, and black trim. The floors previously had ugly peel and stick tile, which was not the look we were going for. So we ended up painting them with floor paint from Ace Hardware. It was simple, clean, cost effective and be tinted any color! And not to mention, easy to touch up if they do get scratched. I'm super happy with how they turned out!
Huge shoutout to my friend Seth Farmer for the beautifully captured photos of our space! Check out his website here !
