Mae Organic Beauty was established in 2018 by Amanda Mae Foster.
After over a decade in the beauty industry, Amanda was diagnosed with lymphoma. Organic color not only saved her life but also her career after her oncologist recommended she leave behind toxic hair color. Inspired by her own journey, Amanda dreamed of creating a collaborative space where stylists could fall in love with clean beauty while educating the community on the harmful chemicals in everyday beauty products. She opened Mae Organic Beauty in Nashville in 2018, and Mae NYC in the heart of the Flatiron District in NYC in 2019 which has since closed due to the pandemic. With over 15 years in the industry, Amanda now works along side her work wife Maggie Phelps as MAE at Pinky Swear in Nashville. In her free time, you can find Amanda galavanting around town with her 4 beautiful children, rescuing an animal, playing music, thrifting, or finding something to decorate.
