Pretty Litter Review

Pretty Litter Review

I know I touched on this subject briefly in my Life With Pets post, but everyone keeps asking about it so I thought I should write out a full review:)

I just finished our first months round of Pretty Litter, and I am BEYOND impressed. When they say you only have to change it once a month, they mean it. By the 3rd week it wasn't smelling like urine at all. It had an interesting musty smell - but nothing we couldn't handle. It was also super easy to scoop! Since the liquid completely evaporates it makes scooping a breeze! I have never been so excited about kitty litter haha

When my monthly order arrived I was definitely excited to get it completely clean because it had a slight bluish hue. When I went to clean the box, I was positive I was going to have to scrape the bottom to get it all out. But to my surprise the litter slid right off! ZERO SCRAPING. My mind was blown.

After dumping the old litter, I sprayed the entire box with Biokleen enzyme cleaner and let it soak in hot water for a few minutes. It eliminates any remaining germs/odors from hanging around.

This is how tiny my monthly shipment is and it only weighs 4 pounds! It makes the hassle of having a litter box do much easier when it's delivered right to your door. I used to hate hauling around heavy litter.

After I dump the water out of the box, I wipe it dry and empty the Pretty Litter bags into the box!

Archie loves boxes, that's why we chose a simple storage box to store their litter :) they think its a game getting in and out of it. We've tried fancy ones in the past, but they seem to like the good one cheap boxes better.
